Making its debut in 2018 with clean aesthetics, Glashütte Original’s Panorama Date Moon Phase now receives a refined update with frosted silver and frosted copper dials.
Encased in polished and brushed stainless steel, the timepiece measures 40mm in diameter and 12.2mm in thickness, sitting elegantly on the wrist. The new galvanic frosted dials, visible through the domed sapphire crystal, are achieved through a fine-grained embossing technique, lending them a captivating texture. The dial is further enhanced by applied gold Roman numerals with a striking blue coating, accompanied by a blue railway minutes track and blued hands. The brand’s signature complications remain intact—the Panorama Date at 4 o’clock, featuring non-overlapping numerals for enhanced legibility, and the Moon Phase at 10 o’clock, showcasing a celestial display of exquisite detail.
On the flip side, the sapphire crystal caseback offers a glimpse into Glashütte Original’s in-house automatic Calibre 36-24, which operates at 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) and boasts an impressive 100-hour power reserve.
The timepiece comes with a variety of strap options—A blue alligator leather strap; a synthetic fabric strap, available in blue, orange, green, black, or grey; or a stainless steel bracelet. The watch is water resistant up to 50 metres.
The Glashütte Original Senator Excellence Panorama Date Moon Phase is priced at approximately INR 11,75,000 for the leather or synthetic strap versions, while the stainless steel bracelet version is available for INR 12,67,000.
