During the recent Paris Olympics 2024, Daniel Craig was spotted wearing a new Omega watch for the first time, it was the teased Seamaster Diver 300M crafted in grade 2 titanium and Bronze Gold. It then hit the market in December 2024. The brand has now presented the timepiece in a fresh colour and material combination. The collection exudes a vintage appeal, inspired by the 300m 007 Edition launched in 2020, worn on-screen in No Time To Die by James Bond.
The new Seamaster Diver 300M features a 42mm Bronze Gold case—Omega’s proprietary alloy composed of 37.5% gold (hallmarked as 9k gold), palladium, and silver, with a high corrosion resistance; the metal retains its natural warm hue for a long period. The bronze colour of the case is complemented by a sandblasted matte black dial and a striking burgundy-coloured anodised aluminium bezel.
On the dial, the open-worked bronze gold PVD-coated hour and minute hands, the central seconds hand, and the applied blackened hour markers are all coated with Super-LumiNova®. The date window is absent and the other markings on the dial are featured in light brown.
Driving the timepiece is the in-house Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 8806 which beats at a frequency of 3.5 Hz, offers a daily accuracy of 0/+5 seconds, and delivers a power reserve of about 55 hours. The movement is also magnetic resistant up to 15,000 Gauss. The lacquered engravings and Geneva stripes in Arabesque decorate the movement, visible through the sapphire caseback.
The watch comes flanked with a choice of black lined rubber strap with a Bronze Gold pin buckle or a mesh bracelet in Bronze Gold with a folding clasp. The rubber strap version (Ref. 210.92.42.20.01.003) is priced at INR 12,00,000 (approx.) and the mesh bracelet version (Ref. 210.90.42.20.01.003) at INR 24,40,000 (approx.)
