Pioneers of automatic winding mechanism, Perrelet has introduced the Turbine Chrono NEO that enhances precision with an instantly readable chronograph, replacing traditional secondary counters. Updated with modern materials, a smaller diameter, a central chrono minute hand, and timeless colour variations. The NEO version also brings out a much more wearable material with a titanium case and bracelet, easily swapped for a rubber strap without tools. This evolution showcases Perrelet’s commitment to innovation while honoring its Swiss watchmaking heritage. Known for its historical significance and dedication to producing high-quality timepieces, this new launch is Perrelet's adherence to contemporary aesthetics, immediate readability and modern materials.

The Turbine Chrono NEO features a polished and brushed grade 2 titanium case, inspired by the Turbine EVO, which marked the line’s renewal in 2019 for the 10th anniversary of Turbine technology. Now reduced to 42mm from its predecessor’s 47mm, the lightweight, corrosion-resistant titanium ensures exceptional comfort on the wrist. The case, water-resistant to 5 ATM, showcases wide grooves, mirrored on the black flared crown, which bears the laser-engraved "P" logo.

Its titanium bezel, circular brushed and coated with black DLC, integrates seamlessly with the chronograph push-buttons at 2 and 4 o’clock. These parallelepiped-shaped, bevel-edged buttons provide smooth operation for start, stop, and reset functions. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal shields both the dial and exhibition case-back, revealing the automatic movement inside.

Enhancing versatility, the Turbine Chrono NEO includes a 5-row titanium bracelet with a polished/brushed finish and a butterfly clasp, alongside an interchangeable rubber strap in matching hues. Thanks to the user-friendly "quick release" system, swapping straps requires no tools.

The multi-layer dial comes alive with Perrelet’s signature 12-blade turbine, a patented innovation since 2009. Crafted from black anodized aluminum, it spins effortlessly with wrist movement, revealing the decorated lower dial in shades of electric blue, grass green, and light grey.

Balancing aesthetics with functionality, the dial features bold color accents highlighting the 60-minute chronograph counter, displayed via a central hand with a luminous triangular tip. This hand moves along the inner flange, marked by a ‘Min’ plate between 12 and 1 o’clock, with indices in a 5-minute scale. The seconds hand matches the lower dial’s hue, except for the grey edition, which contrasts with striking red. Time is easily legible through embossed, luminescent Arabic numerals and hour markers, ensuring clarity in any lighting conditions.

The Chronograph is driven by the P-361 automatic calibre, which comprises 175 parts. Equipped with a balance wheel that beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), it is protected against accidental shocks by Incabloc®, one of the most popular and reliable systems in watchmaking. When fully wound, the barrel ensures a 42-hour power reserve.

The impeccable finishes of the calibre are visible through the sapphire crystal case-back: the rhodium-plated and circular grained main plate and bridges, the open worked rhodium-plated oscillating weight embellished with the Côtes de Genève pattern and the Perrelet logo. The latter is mounted on ball bearings to reduce friction during the oscillations generated by the unconscious movement of the wrist, which supply energy to the watch.

The watches are priced at approximately Rs. 5,50,000/- each.
