All the watch news, reviews, videos you want, brought to you from fellow collectors
Renowned for making durable and functional watches for challenging environments, Sinn presents its latest collection of diving watches, featuring robust German submarine steel, gold, and elegantly designed mother-of-pearl timepieces for women.
U15, U16, and U18
Honouring the legacy of the German navy, the U15, U16, and U18 models are crafted from the steel of decommissioned German U15, U16, and U18 Type 206 submarines that have travelled hundreds and thousands of nautical miles. These 1000-piece limited-edition watches offer exceptional water resistance of 500m, 1000m, and 2000m, respectively, in adherence to DIN 8310 standards.
Each watch features a blue-green dial adorned with rising air bubbles, evoking the underwater dive theme, with a date display at 3 o’clock and luminescent-coated indices and hands for night-time legibility. The case construction is carried out following the European diving equipment standards EN 250 / EN14143, together with a scratch-resistant minute-ratcheting bezel made using TEGIMENT technology, and the screw-down crown at 4 o’clock enhances comfort by preventing pressure on the back of the hand.
The U15 bears a 41mm case and houses automatic SW300-1 movement; the U16 has a 46mm case and is driven by automatic SW200-1 movement; and the U18 features a 46mm case equipped with Ar‑Dehumidifying Technology to prevent fogging and is driven by SW300-1 movement.
T50 Goldbronze B
Limited to 300 pieces, the T50 Goldbronze B stands out with a 41mm case, crown, and rotating bezel crafted from Sinn’s proprietary Goldbronze 125 (a bronze alloy with one-eighth gold, it is highly corrosion-resistant with a distinctive warm hue). Certified following European diving equipment standards, this timepiece is water resistant up to 500 metres and incorporates Ar-Dehumidifying Technology to prevent internal fogging. The dark blue dial, accentuated by luminescent indices and hands, creates a striking contrast against the gold-infused case. The automatic SW 300-1 movement powers the watch.
613 St and 613 St UTC
Designed for chronograph enthusiasts, the 613 St and 613 St UTC timepieces feature a 60-minute stopwatch display, robust 500-metre water resistance, and magnetic field protection up to 100 mT (80,000 A/m).
Housed in 41mm stainless steel cases, these watches boast matte black dials with a white sub-dial at 6 o’clock for the stopwatch function. The hands and indexes are treated with luminescence for visibility in the dark underwater.
Automatic SW 515 movement powers the 613 St watch and the 613 St UTC is driven by SW 535 self-winding movement.
534 Mother-of-Pearl S and 534 Mother-of-Pearl W
Breaking away from the collection’s tactical theme, Sinn introduces two elegant 34mm stainless steel timepieces for women. The 534 Mother-of-Pearl S and 534 Mother-of-Pearl W showcase a polished, faceted bezel and a dial crafted from mother-of-pearl—black for the S variant and white for the W variant.
These watches feature rhodium-plated appliqués and luminescent hands. With a 100-metre water resistance, they are driven by the automatic SW 300-1 movement with a seconds-stop function and completed with a metal bracelet.

What we think -
Sinn is well renowned for making utilitarian diving timepieces that are well-designed with robust materials and tactical features. However, the women’s segment feels underserved—instead of introducing tactical yet elegant options, Sinn has opted for a mother-of-pearl dial in a smaller case. A more adventurous female-oriented dive watch would have been a welcome addition. The brand’s functional pilot’s timepieces are effective and purpose built.
