British luxury watch brand Farer has unveiled its latest timepiece, extending its Chrono-Sports Collection—the new 100-piece limited edition Moritz Green Chronograph pays homage to the brand’s heritage in motorsports with its British Racing Green accents, a colour synonymous with motorsports.
The timepiece is crafted from lightweight yet robust Grade 2 titanium and measures 41mm in diameter, 13.5mm in height, and 44mm lug-to-lug. The bezel features a green aluminium insert with a telemeter scale in kilometers. Sapphire crystal tops both the case and the case back, and the watch has a water resistance of 100 metres.
The dark green sunburst dial embodies the racing theme and features a tri-compax layout with a large 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, referred to as a “big eye,” complemented by a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock and a small seconds counter at 9 o’clock. The subdials are finished with a recessed engine-turned texture, adding depth to the design. The matte silver hour and minute hands, the applied indices and Arabic numerals at 12 and 6 o’clock, as well as the engraved scale on the bezel, are all filled with X1 Super-LumiNova. The dial design is completed by a detailed white minute and chronograph seconds track on the outermost angled flange.
Powering the new Farer Moritz Green Chronograph is the Elaboré-grade hand-wound Sellita SW510M b chronograph movement, offering a 63-hour power reserve and operating at a 4Hz frequency. The movement is adorned with perlage finishing, blued screws, and Farer’s signature monogram chequered sports pattern on the main bridge.
Enhancing the sporty aesthetics is a green suede leather strap secured by a stainless steel buckle. The timepiece is priced at INR 1,96,000 (approx.).
