Omega has added the latest timepiece to its Seamaster Planet Ocean collection—the Seamaster Planet Ocean Worldtimer, housed in a robust ceramic case designed for deep divers. The Planet Ocean collection features some of Omega’s most versatile dive watches, offering water resistance from 600 metres to an impressive 6,000 metres—the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Ultra Deep Professional even survived the depths of the Mariana Trench. Now, for the first time, the Planet Ocean lineup includes a world timer complication, powered by Calibre 8938, the same movement that has been driving the brand’s Aqua Terra Worldtimer collection since 2017. This model maintains a water resistance of 600 metres.
The new Seamaster Planet Ocean Worldtimer also draws inspiration from the aesthetics of the brand’s Deep Black collection, which takes its black colour from the deep, dark waters of the ocean. The 45.5mm brushed ceramic case is complemented by a laser-ablated black ceramic unidirectional bezel, marked with a polished diving scale.
The dial is crafted from Grade 5 Titanium, with continents and colour enhanced through varnishing and laser ablation. Surrounding the world map is a transparent hesalite ring displaying a 24-hour indication. The outer dial features a striking honeycomb pattern, created using laser ablation and coated with black DLC. The applied hour markers have a diamond-brushed finish, adding to the watch’s bold appeal.
The timepiece is available in two variations—Ref. 215.92.46.22.01.006 features turquoise accents on the dial, with grey PVD-coated hands filled with white Super-LumiNova, and Ref. 215.92.46.22.01.007 features grey accents, with black PVD-coated hands filled with grey Super-LumiNova.
The automatic Calibre 8938 is a Master Chronometer-certified movement with a 60-hour power reserve. It drives the central hour, minute, and seconds hands, along with the date, time-zone function, and world timer with a 24-hour display.
The Seamaster Planet Ocean Worldtimer models are fitted with an integrated black rubber strap, lined in either black or grey rubber with matching turquoise or grey stitching. The price is Rs. 14,48,100/-

What we think -
Omega does it again. And again. And again. Another ceramic watch, another planet ocean, another worldtimer. It is getting a little boring now. Let’s hope they do something truly unique next year, or better yet - not do anything and enjoy their current success.
