Vacheron Constantin, the world's oldest watch Maison in continuous operation since 1755, has consistently awed the world with some of the most technically advanced and intricately designed timepieces. And this year is no different.

With 5 masterpieces launched in honour of their 270th anniversary, Vacheron Constantin is redefining the world of horology at this year’s Watches & Wonders Geneva, 2025. From the innovative Traditionnelle Openface to the classic Patrimony, each timepiece echoes the brand’s 270 years of legacy

And not just that, with the launch of the Les Cabinotiers Solaria Ultra Grand Complication, this Swiss powerhouse has changed the game by creating the most complicated wristwatch ever made!

So, get ready to step into the future of horology with a brand that has been perfecting time for over three centuries and is now ready to shake things up a notch with five groundbreaking launches!

Les Cabinotiers Solaria Ultra Grand Complication

No stranger to high-complication watchmaking, Vacheron Constantin has consistently set new standards in horology with their innovative collection. The Les Cabinotiers Celestia Astronomical Grand Complication 3600 in 2017 marked a significant milestone with its 23 complications. Now, with the Les Cabinotiers Solaria Ultra Grand Complication, the brand has raised the bar even higher, creating the most complicated wristwatch ever made with 41 complications!

This single-piece edition, protected by 13 patents, represents eight years of research and an unwavering commitment to innovation.

A true masterpiece, it incorporates five astronomical functions never before seen together in a timepiece!

Powered by the exceptional new manufacture Calibre 3655, comprising 1521 components, all housed within an elegantly compact 45mm white gold case, standing at just 14.99mm.

Also, featuring the world’s first split-seconds chronograph paired with a star chart, enabling the wearer to calculate the precise moment a chosen star or constellation will appear in the sky. Adding to its charm, this exclusive timepiece comes with black technical calfskin leather strap and is secured by an exquisite 18K white gold folding buckle.

Traditionnelle Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar

A true masterpiece, the ingenious Traditionnelle Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar, innovatively combines two of the most coveted complications in watchmaking: the tourbillon and the perpetual calendar!

The perpetual calendar is powered by a 12-month program wheel and a Maltese cross satellite system that manages the leap-year and February month calculation, ensuring accuracy without compromising on space or design.

Housed in a 42mm platinum case, the ultra-thin self-winding Calibre 2160, with its peripheral rotor, ensures the watch remains slim at just 11.1mm.

The 18K gold dial, featuring a guilloché pattern with a geometric motif, specially designed to mark the brand’s 270th anniversary, is a true work of art. With côte unique striping—an intricate design technique rediscovered from over a century ago—on the movement’s bridges, this timepiece beautifully marries traditional craftsmanship with modern innovation.

Presented in a 950-platinum case, paired dark blue alligator leather strap complements its understated elegance. Limited to just 127 pieces, this timepiece is truly a collector’s item!

Traditionnelle Openface Collection

The anniversary celebration continues in the Traditionnelle Openface Collection, with the addition of three new watches to the family.

Traditional with a modern twist, this trio comes with two historical Vacheron Constantin signatures, the openworked dial and the retrograde display. All three watches are in platinum with partially openworked dials that offers a rare glimpse into the intricate mechanics of high-end horology. The dials, crafted from solid gold and engraved with a distinctive Maltese cross motif, are complemented by sapphire inlays that add depth to the design.

At the heart of this masterpiece, lies the self-winding Calibre 2460 QCL/270, revealing part of its 312-component mechanism.

Each unique with a distinct personality, the collection showcases Vacheron’s mastery in the world of horology. The Traditionnelle Perpetual Calendar Retrograde Date Openface showcases a new self-winding movement with a perpetual calendar and precision moon-phase complication, while the Traditionnelle Tourbillon Retrograde Date Openface combines a tourbillon and retrograde date in a slender 6.35 mm thick design. Meanwhile, the Traditionnelle Complete Calendar Openface offers a modern take on the complete calendar with a precision moon-phase display.

Limited to just 370 pieces, paired with a brown Mississippiensis alligator leather strap, secured by an exquisite 18K white gold folding buckle, this beautiful collection is a must-have for most!

Foundational Traditionnelle & Patrimony Models

Along with its more complicated pieces, Vacheron has expanded their iconic Traditionnelle and Patrimony collections with four new limited editions.

Among the highlights are the Traditionnelle Manual-Winding and Traditionnelle Moon Phase, as well as the Patrimony Moon Phase Retrograde Date and Patrimony Self-Winding. These models showcase the brand’s commitment to exceptional craftsmanship, blending sophisticated complications with elegant design.

Each watch individually numbered on the caseback, making every timepiece highly coveted by collectors and connoisseurs of Haute Horlogerie.

Les Cabinotiers Tribute to the Tour de l’Ile

And the celebration of course would be incomplete without the exceptional work of Les Cabinotiers, a specialized team of highly skilled women and men who create single-edition pieces. Connecting the past with the future of watchmaking, the three Tribute to the Tour de l’Île pieces represent a stunning reinterpretation of a historical lithograph that honours the tower which once housed the brand's workshops in the mid-19th century.

The first, in platinum, features a miniature Grand Feu enamel dial, meticulously painted over a month, with each layer fired to perfection. The second, also platinum, combines hand-executed guilloché and Grand Feu enamel, with 56 hours of work to create intricate architectural patterns. The third, in pink gold, showcases freehand engraving, with over 140 hours spent sculpting the Tour de l’Île in bas-relief, capturing light and depth.

The watch is beautifully complemented by a brown Mississippiensis alligator leather strap, finished with an exquisite 18K white gold folding buckle.
