Cartier makes a triumphant return to Watches & Wonders 2025 with an impressive lineup of new releases. From the elegance of the Tank Louis Cartier to the dazzling high-jewelry masterpieces of the Panthère de Cartier collection, the brand continues to resurrect its vintage timepieces. After the Privé Tortue was reintroduced at the fair last year, the maison now presents the latest iterations of its Privé Tank à Guichets, a celebrated model from 1928.
Tank Louis Cartier
The Tank Louis Cartier has remained one of the most sophisticated collections in the brand’s repertoire since its debut in 1917. In its latest iteration, the collection evolves with a larger case size, now measuring 27.75mm in width, 38.1mm in length, and 8.18mm in thickness.
Crafted in rose and yellow gold, the timepiece houses the 1899 MC automatic Manufacture movement. The flinqué dial retains the signature aesthetics of the line—the railway track, parallel brancards, bold Roman numerals, and blued sword-shaped hands in steel. A sapphire cabochon-set crown and a semi-matte grey alligator leather strap complete the ensemble.
Privé Tank à Guichets
Cartier has brought back the iconic vintage model from 1928. The Privé Tank à Guichets returns with its signature time display, driven by the new hand-wound caliber 9755 MC movement, featuring jumping hours and dragging minutes. Measuring 37.6mm x 24.8mm, the satin-finished case is accentuated by polished horizontal brancards. The crown is positioned at 12 o’clock, maintaining the model’s storied history.
The new Privé Tank à Guichets is offered in two versions. The first model, crafted in yellow gold, rose gold, or platinum, retains the design of the 1928 model, with the hour aperture at 12 o’clock and a minute aperture at 6 o’clock. The second is a 200-piece limited-edition platinum model inspired by the 1930s design, featuring asymmetrically positioned apertures.
Tressage
Cartier introduces a fresh addition to its jewelry watch collection—the sculpted Tressage, which blends high jewelry with horology. The timepiece features two intertwined bands of gold and diamonds that frame a rectangular dial at the center. Measuring 56.2mm x 25.7mm x 1.5mm, it houses a quartz movement.
The Tressage comes in four variations, crafted in white gold or yellow gold. A yellow gold model is paired with a black lacquered dial and a matching strap. Another version, in yellow and white gold, has its case, buckle, and dial set with brilliant-cut diamonds. Two white gold versions are paired with a navy blue strap—one completely adorned with 1,000 brilliant-cut diamonds, and the other featuring 570 brilliant-cut diamonds and 330 brilliant-cut sapphires.
Panthère de Cartier
Cartier reinvents its legendary panther motif with fresh interpretations inspired by the bold patterns of zebras and tigers. This latest Panthère de Cartier model features black and golden-brown lacquer motifs, accentuated with pavé-set diamonds and vibrant orange and yellow spessartites. The snow-set dial, adorned with 145 brilliant-cut diamonds, is complemented by a pink gold bracelet studded with 398 brilliant-cut diamonds. The timepiece is powered by a quartz movement.
Another Panthère watch in the lineup, available in rose or yellow gold, features a semi-paved diamond bracelet. A diamond-set bezel frames the white dial, which showcases signature bold Roman numerals, a railway minute track, and blued sword hands. Four variations are offered in different sizes: 36.5mm x 26.7mm for a yellow gold version, 30.3mm x 22mm for yellow and rose gold, and the smallest at 25mm x 20mm in rose gold. All models are powered by a quartz movement.
Toi & Moi Panthère
Another standout jewelry watch in the latest releases is the yellow gold Toi & Moi Panthère watch, showcasing a three-dimensional panther poised in a lifelike stance, complete with black lacquer spots, sculpted paw pads, and piercing tsavorite eyes. The onyx nose and black lacquer dial create a striking contrast, accented by a diamond-paved bezel and a single diamond hour marker at 12 o’clock.
A white gold version of the Toi & Moi Panthère is studded with 1,100 diamonds, featuring Cartier’s signature fur-setting technique, where metal prongs are delicately folded around onyx to create a hair-like effect. The timepiece took 230 hours of meticulous craftsmanship. Both versions are powered by a quartz movement.
