The young Swiss independent brand Norqain made waves when it launched the Independence collection of sports watches after its debut in 2018. Over the years, the brand has introduced various sub-collections such as the Independence 40mm, Independence Skeleton, Independence Skeleton Chrono, Wild One, and the latest, Wild One Skeleton.

The brand has now added new timepieces to the Independence Skeleton Chrono featuring striking new colours developed under the guidance of industry legend Jean-Claude Biver.

Independence Skeleton Chrono

Two bold new editions join the Independence Skeleton Chrono collection—one featuring purple detailing and another in striking jade green. The 42mm timepieces are crafted in Grade 5 Titanium, making the sports watches robust yet lightweight at just 94 grams.

Both models showcase a satin-finished skeletonised dial that incorporates mountain-inspired cutaways, with the purple edition exuding a sleek black-and-purple aesthetic. The jade green version, limited to 500 pieces, boasts a hard-wearing DLC-coated case and a colour inspired by natural jade stones, with “Limited Edition ONE of 500” engraved on the case back. The dials feature flat indexes and faceted hour and minute hands, which are rhodium-plated and filled with white X1 Super-LumiNova®. The cases are flanked by matching rubber straps in purple or jade green.

These high-performance timepieces are powered by the NORQAIN 8K Manufacture Calibre, a skeletonised flyback chronograph designed for precision-driven adventurers. The bi-directional automatic movement beats at 4 Hz with a 62-hour power reserve.
