As the highly anticipated Watches and Wonders 2025 event approaches, Speake-Marin has unveiled the latest addition to its Ripples collection, the Ripples Gold (Ref. 624015050). For the first time since the collection’s debut three years ago, the brand introduced a Ripples timepiece with a full rose gold construction.
Speake-Marin introduced the Ripples collection as a refined luxury sports watch, with distinct dial aesthetics and a stainless steel case. In 2022, a special edition was released featuring a solid gold champagne-coloured dial to commemorate the brand’s 20th anniversary.
The new Ripples Gold features the La City case in 18k 4N rose gold, measuring 40.3mm in diameter and 9.2mm in thickness, with brushed and polished surface. The case is topped by a double-sided anti-reflective-coated sapphire crystal and maintains a water resistance of up to 50 metres.
The ‘Gold Brown’ dial is made from rhodium-plated brass and coated with a zapon finish, and adorned with twelve hand-satin-finished, three-dimensional horizontal ripples, a signature element of the brand. The hour markers and hands are made with polished 4N rose gold, with the hour hand distinguished by a heart-shaped tip. A small seconds counter at 1:30 is sunburst finished with dark brown glossy decal indices and a 4N rose gold-plated rim.
Powering the timepiece is the brand’s proprietary self-winding calibre SMA03-T, equipped with an integrated tungsten micro-rotor. The movement beats at 4 Hz frequency and delivers a 52-hour power reserve.
The watch is paired with a mocha-colored calf leather strap, embossed with a denim motif, tone-on-tone stitching, and completed with a buckle in 4N rose gold and titanium. The watch is priced at approx. INR 29,00,000 and will be available for purchase starting April 2025.
