If daring is an attitude, then red definitely is its colour. And the all-new Linear Series 3 by HAUTLENCE flaunts it in style!
Marking a hattrick moment, HAUTLENCE ups the ante this year at Watches & Wonders 2025, with their boldest edition yet. Founded in 2004, HAUTLENCE has been redefining the boundaries of horology with its bold and innovative designs. After wowing us with their TV-shaped case and signature blue accent in Linear Series 1. The Linear Series 2 followed with a refined case in all-black finish in 2022. And now with this edition, HAUTLENCE is making a statement in red.
Step into red
Dressed in bold red, from the strap to the dial, the Linear Series 3 is a veritable work of art.
For HAUTLENCE red isn’t just a color - it’s a symbol of passion, power, and fearless individuality. With the Linear Series 3, HAUTLENCE harnesses this energy, turning time into a bold expression of style.
Art in motion
But it’s not just the colour, it’s the character that stands out!
The new watch maintains majority of the aesthetics and mechanics to what HAUTLENCE released in their last two editions. The new limited-edition watch features their signature TV-shaped case. Crafted from satin-finished and polished stainless-steel case is 43mm X 50.8mm X 12.2mm, including 3mm sapphire crystal. Surrounding the dial is a notched bezel that features a red rubber band.
Few case shapes from the 21st century are as outstanding and immediately identifiable as HAUTLENCE’s TV-shaped case. Rectangular with rounded sides and sharply faceted corners, the TV case is instantly recognizable for its unique form.
A peek inside
As always at HAUTLENCE, the dial is made of several layers. At the heart of the dial, an additional tinted sapphire layer features the minute numerals, sitting delicately atop the base dial which has a vertical satin finish. This layered texture creates depth and dimension, making the piece unique.
The main dial is partially open, inviting you to look deep within its mechanical heart. Through this open section, you can spot the minute cam, an integral part of the movement, which is directly connected to the minute hand. As the minute hand rotates once per hour and lifts the minute sector as the hour elapses. After 60 minutes, it falls back into place, smoothly driving the hour star and cam.
One of the most striking features of the Linear Series 3 is the linear retrograde jumping hours. As the hour changes, the hour indicator jumps instantly to the next hour on the scale, offering a futuristic and dynamic way of telling time.
The crown continues the bold narrative, with a red rubber band and engraved HAUTLENCE logo. It’s paired with a red rubber strap and pin buckle, creating a bold, cohesive look.
The Genius of the D50 Movement
Powering this beast is the D50 in-house automatic tourbillon movement, made up of 239 components. Beating at a frequency of 3Hz, it also offers a power reserve of 72 hours.
Incorporating a refined 3D Globolight® minute index on the intermediate dial, the numerals glow brightly, ensuring visibility even in low light. The design of this dial, which includes the use of rhodium-plated brass, red Zapon lacquer, and Super-LumiNova® elements on the upper dial, makes this watch a collector’s item.
The steel case of the Linear Series 3 guarantees water resistance to 10 ATM and exceptional durability.
With just 28 pieces in its exclusive limited collection, the HAUTLENCE Linear Series 3 comes at a price of Rs 61,19,000 (approx.), because exclusivity has its price!
So, are you ready to paint the town red?
